Eric Marsi
My name is Eric Marsi! I am a Microsoft MVP and the Founder/Principal Solutions Architect at VulTech Solutions, LLC! I work directly with customers on-premises and cloud-based deployments to bring new meeting experiences to all. I bring over 7 years of experience from the different IT industry areas and can communicate effectively with network engineers, systems engineers, end users, and business leaders.
I have different personal hobbies such as reverse engineering/security research, skiing, and electronics engineering. I also spend a lot of my free time working with products such as Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Exchange, Hyper-V, System Center, and more in my home lab! I strive to empower others to do more by providing guides and assistance to everyone.
Interests
Unified Communications (UC) is my primary field of expertise. In 2016, I was introduced to the Microsoft UC platform. Since then, I have developed a passion for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business as these products are able to transform the way that a organization collaborates. When a deployment is complete, there is a sense of accomplishment that cannot be explained.
I also occasionally post on my blog regarding updates to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, give product reviews, create how-to guides, and more! The primary purpose of this blog it to give back to the community that has helped me get to where I am at now in my career.
IT is more than just a career to me, it is my life-long hobby.
Speaking Opportunities
I had the amazing opportunity to speak at Comms vNext 2019 on upgrading from Lync 2013/SFB2015 to Skype for Business Server 2019. This was truly a remarkable event and one that I will remember for a lifetime.
Certifications
Currently, I have my Teams Administrator Associate, AudioCodes ACA, MCSE: Productivity Solutions, and MCSA: Office 365 certifications.
Group Memberships
I am the Director of Technology and Local Chapter Organizer (Cleveland, OH & Columbus, OH) of The National Teams Users Group which is a group where IT professionals that are interested in/actively working with the Microsoft UC platform get together to discuss different topics about the product.
